Justin Lorenz’s Complete Game Leads Rockledge Past Viera

Rockledge’s Justin Lorenz earned an unorthodox complete-game victory to lead the Raiders to a 13-3 victory over Viera on Friday evening. Lorenz allowed three earned runs on seven hits while striking out seven, as he went six full innings over two different days. The contest was postponed a few weeks ago due to weather with the game tied in the fifth inning, and Friday Lorenz returned to the mound to finish things off for his complete-game victory. Rockledge erupted for 11 runs over the final two frames to run away to victory, as Jake Aurand, Eric Adler and Kevin Clanton all had multi-hit games.
